Phosphor AFG-20
Phosphor AFG-20 is a dual-channel audio arbitrary waveform generator that runs in the browser. It is modeled after a bench function generator, but it plays through your computer’s speakers or headphones instead of BNC outputs.
Two independent channels (CH1 / CH2) each have frequency, amplitude, offset, phase, and waveform. You can run them together, couple frequency or amplitude, invert a channel, copy CH1 into CH2, and align phase.
Waveforms
Sine, square, triangle, ramps, pulse, white/pink noise, DC, sinc, exponential rise/fall, Gaussian, ECG, and a 1024-point arbitrary wave you draw by hand.
Operating modes
- Continuous — tone at a set frequency (0.1 Hz–20 kHz)
- Modulation — AM, FM, PM, PWM, FSK
- Sweep — linear or log frequency sweep
- Burst — N-cycle or gated bursts
Display
A CRT-style scope shows Y-T traces or an X-Y (Lissajous) plot, plus a live dBfs meter.
Output
Stereo L/R, CH1 only, CH2 only, or mix. Master gain, mute, and a speaker-protect limiter. WAV export of the current setup.
Memory
Eight setup slots in the browser so you can store and recall instrument states.
Use it as a tone source, stereo test signal, modulation demo, or a sketchpad for custom audio waves. Open Arb edit to draw a waveform, then hit OUT on a channel to hear it.
